ABOUT
Little Creek Equestrian Education Academy was formed in 2020 by Olympic Equestrian Tiffany Foster. Inspired by the Anti-Racism movement that followed the murder of George Floyd, Tiffany reflected on what she could do to make a difference in the world. The ladder in the LCEEA logo represents an opportunity to climb to a better life.
Horses have always been Tiffany's passion and she wanted to find a way to give more opportunities for people of all different races and backgrounds to have a career in the equestrian industry. She approached Mrs. Sheila Crudup of North Palm Beach Prep School, located in Palm Beach County, Florida, with an idea for a work experience program. The program is an immersive week in the world of showjumping that explores multiple career paths within the industry of high performance show horses. After the week is over, the participants have the opportunity to further explore any facet of the industry that piqued their interest. Three months of apprenticeship is arranged in the desired field with the ultimate end goal of job placement.
The program is offered free of charge to applicants ages 15 - 25 and no previous experience with horses is required. Transport, breakfast and lunch are provided by the generous supporters of the program and the graduates will be awarded a diploma and an excellent reference for their resume.
We aim to change lives one person at time by opening doors that would otherwise be unavailable to a thriving industry that has the capability of taking the participants all over the world. We want to offer a path to gain the necessary skills to envision a positive future and a brighter tomorrow!
